Karangwa Gusaba Ceremony
I had the absolute privilege of being the photographer for the Karangwa family’s Gusaba ceremony. This is a traditional Rwandan event when the family of the groom-to-be officially requests for the woman as a bride. The families were so sweet and funny! It was exciting to see them celebrate their joining in such a beautiful way.
Metamorphoses
In March of 2019 I was invited to take pictures at two dress rehearsals for the Metamorphoses play preformed by students at the Cincinnati’s School of Creative and Performing Arts. What an amazing experience it was! The stage featured a pool the performers continually interacted with as the various stories were told. The lighting highlighted the mood and I loved the affect of fabric used during the Underworld scene.
